The Fillies Derby Ball® event benefits the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation. It is Louisville’s only Coronation Ball which started in 1958. This will be the 53rd ball which was created one year prior to the organization of The Fillies, Inc. The Fillies Inc. is celebrating its 54th year.
